Working Shifts at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust
Trust ID Swipe Card
NHS Professionals Bank Members will need to get a Trust ID card which will provide access to wards and clinical areas that you might be working in.
In order to get a Trust ID card:
Please go to the Security Office where you will be given a form to complete. Once this has been completed, a £10 deposit is required before your badge will be issued. Please note this is refundable upon leaving the Trust at which point you will also need to return your Trust ID card.

Trust-specific training for Midwives
If you are a midwife and want to work bank shifts at Liverpool Woman's NHS Foundation Trust through NHS Professionals there is some additional training you will need to complete. Please click here to request access to the following training:

Parking
To request staff car parking at Liverpool Women's Hospital, please email lwh@nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk and request a Staff Car Park Application Form. Once completed, please return the form to Estates and Facilities Secretary or email the completed form to rich-ard.diamond@lwh.nhs.uk.
Please note you are required to pay monthly for your car parking space.

By Foot
Liverpool Women's is approximately 2 miles outside of the city centre and can be reached via a fairly direct route from most landmarks. Use the above postcode to plan your route. There are also several bus stops serving all directions around the road perimeter of the hospital with others within a short walk.
Cycle
There are cycle routes nearby. Cycle parking facilities are available at the front of the hospital near the main entrances. The site is regularly patrolled by Security staff and there is CCTV in operation.
Buses
There is a variety of bus services which operate from the surrounding areas and drop off at the hospital or within walking distance. The most convenient bus route that passes the hospital site include all variations of the 86 buses which are operated by Arriva and Stagecoach, as well as the 76 bus which is operated by Arriva. Trains
The hospital is about 1 mile from Edge Hill Station, and 2 miles from Lime Street Station and Liverpool Central Station. Taxis are readily available from the station and Merseytravel (see details above) can provide details of bus services linking local train stations and the hospital.
