As you are aware, the management of bank temporary staffing provided by the Liverpool Womens Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (LWH) bank will be transferring to NHS Professionals on 22nd November 2021.
NHS Professionals (NHSP) will be the temporary staffing at LWH, and therefore, as a bank only member whose registration will be transferring over to NHSP under the Cabinet Office Statement of Practice (COSoP) – Staff Transfers in the Public Sector (2000, revised December 2013), we are pleased to confirm that you are now able to work bank assignments through NHSP following the service transfer date, 22nd November 2021.
We have included the next steps for you below. This includes:
In line with the NHSP transfer process, we ask that you complete a bank application to ensure we have the most up to date details for you. We also ask that you book onto an “ID Verification event” so we can carry out the necessary identification checks and verify your right to work documentation in line with The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, (Further information can be found below). Please note, you will be required to provide NHSP with evidence of your right to work in the UK within 60 days of the service transfer date, failure to complete this step will result in you being unable to book and work assignments at the Trust.
It is important that you follow the instructions in the Bank Member Guide to complete your application.
Start your application on our “join bank” system.
You must use the email address we have contacted you on, to complete your application, sign in under ‘existing account’ and select forgot password.
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email from Trust ID to submit your documentation via the webapp (In addition of providing them at one of the ID Verification events), please ensure to follow the instructions from that email.
Should you have any questions on this process, please do not hesitate to contact your NHSP team on 0333 0144 367 who will be happy to assist.
Upon completion of your NHSP registration you will need to complete your COVID-19 Risk Assessment as soon as possible. Failure to complete this step will prevent you from booking or undertaking any assignments through NHSP from 21st November 2021 including any pre-booked assignments until the Risk Assessment has been completed.
The COVID-19 Risk Assessment will be pre-loaded to your My:Bank account and will be available once logged in.
Like any other employer, NHSP is obliged to carry out verification checks in compliance with employment legislation. To do this, we ask you to please attend an event:
