Allocation on arrival is great if you would like experience working on different wards, this can help to develop your skills and knowledge across various wards.
The great thing about Allocation on arrival is that you can work shifts that suit your lifestyle, we can create shifts to cater to any start and finish time you would like and can book you in for up to 3 months in advance, all you need to do is let us know what type of shifts you like to work! Or alternatively we have shifts ready for you to book at each of the below locations.

In September 2022 MFT introduced Hive, powered by Epic; the largest transformation and most complex programme the Trust and Epic has ever embarked upon which will transform the quality of care and the experience for all their patients and staff alike.
In simple terms, Hive is a major clinical transformation programme which will support delivery of the Clinical Services Strategy. It will have at its heart, the Electronic Patient Record solution from Epic bringing all their patient information together in one place helping the Trust work together across professions to improve services for patients and people who their services.

HIVE needs to be completed prior to starting work at the Trust.
The Bank Member of the Month Award acknowledges the excellent contribution that Bank Members make to their local Trust and the wider NHS.
All nominees will go on to receive a certificate and one top nomination from each Trust, as selected by the NHS Professionals Marketing Team, and will also receive a pin badge as a ‘thank you’ for their hard work.
Each month, from the Trust winners, an NHS Professionals Trust Account Director will select the two overall winners, one from the North and one from the South, who has received a nomination for excellent performance, either from a manager, colleague, or patient within their Trust. These two people will win a £100 voucher.

Parking charges are now in place for all staff/contractors and visitors parking on MFT sites.
All staff/contractors/students are required to apply for and display a parking permit
For NHSP staff, select the site you will be based at
- reciprocal permit type
- select NHSP from the drop down
These permits are charged at £40 per month and can be paid online.
You will then be notified by the car parking team at your site location on where to collect your permit.
For ad-hoc shifts, where parking is only required for the odd day, please use the pay and display machines and park in the visitors car parks.
For Night shifts (6pm – 8am) we do not charge for parking on site but a valid permit would need to be displayed which can only be used during these times.
8.16.7. All staff working within the Trust and employed by another organisation will be required to pay for their car parking via their hosted organisation (through their salary) and/or pay for their parking as directed via the car parking permit system when applying for a car parking permit. This will be validated and verified by the Trust’s Car Parking Team.
8.22.1. Partner organisation staff who are required to work on MFT sites, have an arrangement in place whereby MFT is invoiced (salary deduction from partner organisation payroll) and/or reimbursed for parking permits for their staff. A rate of £40 is applied each month per permit.
As NHSP staff are not permanent, salary deduction is unable to be set up. The £40 monthly charge is applicable and for bank staff who complete Ad-hoc shifts, they can pay the staff daily discounted rate of £6 per day.
