June 2023 - Theatre/Recovery Shifts £200 Monthly Incentive

Monthly Incentive payment for June is £200
Eligible shifts 7 days a week Monday to Sunday all shifts included. Applicable to all shifts worked with the following codes:
CSW59/CSWH52/CSWH59/NTL52/NTL55/NTM55/RN544/RN55/RN59/RNT48/RNT52/RNT54/ RNT55/TP40/TP52/TP59/TPEL52/TPHL223/TPHL40/TPHL55/TPP59
*** Shifts worked in Endoscopy with the following codes only in Endoscopy (NTL00, RN00, ASP16, CSWH00, CSW00) *** NOTE Shifts worked in Endoscopy will not be included in the Nursing and Midwifery Monthly incentive T&C’s from 1st February

- Cardiac ODA's Cardiac Theatres
- Cardiothoracic Theatres
- Cardiac Catheter Labs
- Xray Nursing
- Freedom Day Case Theatres
- Main Theatres 7
- General Theatres
- Recovery Theatre Level 4
- PORS Unit
- Neuro Theatre
- Theatres Night Staff
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology Theatres
- Cardiothoracic Recovery
- Operating Department Assistants
- Plymouth Children’s Surgery Unit
- REI Theatres
- Orthopaedic Theatre
- Tavistock Hospital Day Case Theatre
- Dermatology - Rowan House
- Endoscopy
- Eligible shifts must be worked in a theatre/recovery.
- Multi-post holders (Substantive staff) need to work 3 shifts in each qualifying month to receive payment.
- Bank-only/Bank-exclusive contract holders need to work a minimum of 6 shifts in each qualifying month to receive payment.
- Incentive payments can be paid multiple times, for example, if double the number of shifts detailed above are worked in a month, the employee/bank worker would receive a payment of £400 (pre-tax).
- Eligible shifts must be a minimum of 9 hours 29 minutes worked.
- A night shift of 20:00 – 8:00 will only qualify as one shift not two.
- Only shifts worked at a University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust site will qualify however colleagues from Livewell and NDHT working bank shifts at UHP will qualify under the bank share agreement.
- Bank shifts worked within 48 hours of sickness absence will not qualify for the incentive.
- Shifts processed as Self Isolation payments will not be eligible.
- If you need to leave your shift before it is completed (9 hours 29 minutes), the shift will not qualify for the incentive
- Clinical staff who hold an honorary contract with the Trust and who are registered with the bank will be eligible and treated as bank-only workers.

Incentive Release and Payment Dates: • June (01/06/2023 to 30/06/2023) must be released by 09/07/2023 – payment will be made on 21/07/2023
