Physiotherapist

If so, University Hospital Southampton are looking to recruit an innovative, enthusiastic, and experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills and able to organise and manage their own workload and will be required to undertake delegated responsibilities as and where appropriate. The post holder will be required to support the services need for flexibility to deliver optimal patient care.

The Postholder Will:

• undertake patient assessments of physical, communication, interaction and cognitive skills
• plan and provide appropriate treatment and activities
• give advice and arranging support for family members, carers and clients
• undertake general administrative tasks
• liaise with doctors, family members, carers and other professionals and keeping them updated
• plan further treatment and review progress

Essential Requirements:

• Specialist knowledge gained within a similar environment over a considerable period of time.
• Previous NHS experience

Desirable:

• ED/medicine experience preferred
• Able to undertake complex manual handling
• Flexible and a good team player
• Comfortable with electronic documentation
