Financial incentive available to clinical staff who are able to work over the holiday period - 24th December - 3rd January.
Every member of clinical staff who works directly with patients in 24/7 services over the holiday period will be paid an extra £100 per shift.
To support our service users, their carers and your colleagues, we want to make sure that as many people as possible are able and willing to work the holiday period.
Trusts regionally are also making this extra offer to pay for staff to work between 24 December and 3 January. This is because of the growing concerns about the spread of the COVID Omicron variant and the negative impact this could have on staffing levels. This is an unprecedented move as we continue to tackle this pandemic.
This incentive supersedes any other incentives in place as those have all now ceased.
This payment will be made to all patient-facing clinical staff who work from the late shift on 24 December through to the late shift on 3 January (inclusive) across all staff groups working in the below listed areas:-

A further condition is that people are following IPAC guidelines and testing negative for COVID.
