Increased pay rates for Nursing Bank Staff!

 

Following a review of pay rates for Band 5 Nursing bank members at Barnsley Hospital, we are delighted to announce that we are increasing the hourly pay rate from 15th April.

 

Nursing	Current rate (Days/Nights & Saturdays / Sundays)	New rate (Days/Nights & Saturdays / Sundays)
Band 5	£12.38 / £16.10 / £19.81	£15.40 / £20.02 / £24.64

 

 

 

 

 

If you've been working bank shifts, the new rates will apply to you from 15th April.

 

This is in accordance of a six-month agency reduction and control plan to support the Trust. The plan will reduce agency expenditure, agency usage over NHSI cap and off framework usage and support increased continuity and quality of care provided to Barnsley Hospitals patients.
